is that all there is for breakfast? fat and carbs?

ahhh A.J. you impetuous young man.

i did enjoy my cinammon chip scone for breakfast this morning, and a nice venti Litenote from starbucks on my drive in to work. they have those nice deep red (not unlike the new color of my master bath, by the way) cups for the Christmas season. they also have the little bags for scones and the like with little red snowflakes printed on them... there's something about this time of year that seems to scream coffee house to me. there's something more comforting about red starbucks coffee cups than regular old year-round-white. i think all of these thoughts are tied up in one particular memory of mine... it was Christmas time, and i was indeed out shopping near a mall, and stopped in to a panera bread. i enjoyed a cup of coffee, read a book, and people watched. i sat there, in the warmly decorated coffeehouse, in view of a fireplace, and listened to the Christmas music. it all seemed so nice. and peaceful. and comforting.

anyway. the red coffee cups at starbucks actually have a website printed on the bottom of them: www.itsredagain.com , which is a website where you can send greetings, and share personal traditions, and similar things. none of this i realized when i started this post. kind of freaky that i felt prompted to write based on the color of my starbucks cup.

humans rule. dolphins can suck it.
